Ukrzaliznytsia paramilitary security workers have the right to take physical measures, detain and transfer offenders to law enforcement agencies.
The carrier Ukrzaliznytsia is increasing the number of trains as part of the #ZaliznaBezpeka project. We are talking about trains patrolled by paramilitary guards. The company announced this on Thursday, September 28, on Telegram.
In particular, in September, security will appear on the following trains: No. 29/30 Uzhgorod – Kiev – Uzhgorod, No. 59/60 Chop – Kiev – Chop, No. 85/86 Zaporozhye – Lviv – Zaporozhye, No. 119 /120 Zaporozhye – Lviv – Zaporozhye , No. 265/266 Uzhgorod – Kovel – Uzhgorod, No. 357/359 Kiev – Vorokhta – Kiev.
It is reported that since the beginning of this summer, the paramilitary security escort has been continued on three trains: No. 41/42 Dnepr – Truskavets – Zaporozhye, No. 81/82 Kiev – Uzhgorod – Kiev, Intercity + No. 712/711 Kiev – Kramatorsk – Kiev.
The paramilitary guard consists of two workers who are on the train and monitor compliance with the order.
“They help the train crew in case of violations of the rules of passenger behavior during conflict situations. Any passenger can immediately call paramilitary security workers through the conductor or the leader of the train,” the company explained.
Ukrzaliznytsia and the foundation of American billionaire Howard Buffett created the world’s first kitchen train – Food Train, capable of autonomously producing up to 70 thousand servings of food in a week in the absence of light.
