The majority of Ukrainian citizens (60%) felt that their own economic situation has worsened over the past six months, for 35% it has not changed, only 5% felt an improvement. This is confirmed by data from a survey of the Sociological group Rating.
Assessments of the situation in Ukraine as a whole were worse: 73% felt it was getting worse, 13% said no change, 9% said they had improved.

Overall, respondents assessed the state of economic affairs more favorably than in previous surveys, but there was an increase in negative assessments of the future.
So, speaking about the Ukrainian economy in the future, 29% of respondents expect improvement, 26% think that nothing will change, 32% expect it to get worse.
As for the personal situation, 23% hope that their personal economic situation will improve in the next year, 41% believe that it will not change, 21% have a pessimistic view on this matter.

The survey was conducted on September 5-7 among 1,000 respondents in all regions except the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbass, as well as in territories where there was no Ukrainian mobile communication at the time of the survey. The error in the representativeness of the study is no more than 3.1%.
We remind you that in 2022 the Ukrainian economy will lose 29.2%. This happened due to the outbreak of a large-scale war in Russia. In 2023, Ukraine’s GDP will grow faster than expected. The Ministry of Economy predicts that by the end of the year the growth will be about 4%.
