DTEK Kyiv Electric Grids has technically upgraded two high-voltage substations in the capital of Ukraine. The work was carried out in preparation for the heating season, and the cost of modernization reached more than UAH 70 million, the company’s press service reported on Friday, September 8.
In particular, power transformers and other electrical equipment have been replaced in substations, which should provide an additional margin of safety.

We have now completed the renovation of two high-voltage substations that provide lighting in 186 high-rise buildings, more than 2.5 thousand private houses, 9 schools and kindergartens, children’s hospitals and other critical facilities. city infrastructure,” said Denis Bondar, General Director of DTEK Kiev Electric Grids.
