Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson arrives at the Yalta European Strategy annual meeting.

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson arrived in Kyiv for the annual Yalta European Strategy (YES) forum. President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on Friday, September 8, on Telegram, publishing a joint photo.

“From the first hours of a full-scale war, Boris Johnson wholeheartedly supported Ukraine and helped defend itself from Russian aggression. And now he continues to increase international support for Ukraine. Thank you for your strength , friend!” – wrote the head of state.

As you know, the Yalta European Strategy started in Kyiv. At the opening of the annual meeting, President Vladimir Zelensky said that in the coming winter, the president of the aggressor country of Russia, Vladimir Putin, will scare the world with the use of nuclear weapons.

Let’s remember that at the end of May, Boris Johnson met with former US President Donald Trump during his trip to the United States. Politicians will discuss the situation in Ukraine.
