British sports and racing car manufacturer Lotus released the four-door electric car Emeya. It is expected to challenge cars like the Tesla Model S and Porsche Taycan Turbo. CarBuzz reported it.
It is mentioned that the vehicle will use the same dual-motor all-wheel drive system. The most obedient single-speed unit produces 603 hp. and torque of 524 Nm, while the high-performance two-speed version develops power up to 905 hp. and 726 Nm.
The company claims that the electric car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 256 km/h. The power reserve is from 489 to 595 km.
The Emeya is also equipped with a 102 kWh battery with an 800 V network. In theory, it can be charged in 5 minutes. for 150 km, or you can return the charge from 10 to 80% in 18 minutes, this is if the station provides 350 kW.
Additionally, underneath, the car is equipped with an electronically controlled air suspension that senses the road and makes adjustments more than 1,000 times per second.
