Part of the wind turbines of the Tiligulskaya wind farm has been operating in market conditions since the beginning of summer, the company said.
The Tiligulskaya wind farm of the DTEK holding completely left the Guaranteed Buyer (GarPok) balancing group due to debts accrued by the state in payments for “green” energy, and began to independently sell electricity on the market. This was announced by the company’s press service on Friday, September 1.

“Part of the wind turbine of the Tiligulskaya wind farm has been operating in market conditions since the beginning of summer. Currently, the market price situation makes it possible to receive the necessary amount of funds in a timely manner to maintain the stable operation of the plant during the heating period and settlement with creditors,” said Alexander Selishchev, General Director of DTEK RES.
It has been reported that the sale of electricity from the wind farm will be carried out through the company D.Trading.
DTEK RES reports that leaving the Guaranteed Buyer balancing group allows some RES companies to receive income comparable to the size of the “green” tariff. In particular, this applies to wind energy projects. The company also hopes that the state will continue its move towards liberalization of the electricity market.
“This will have a stimulating effect on market entry for most renewable energy producers, who currently receive only 40-45% of the payment from the Guaranteed Buyer, while the remaining debts can be paid within a year or two,” the message. said.
Recall that during the war, DTEK built and operated the first stage of the Tiligulskaya wind farm with a capacity of 114 MW in the Mykolaiv region. In the future, this wind farm will be the largest in Eastern Europe with a total capacity of 500 MW.
Later, the media assessed the importance of the new DTEK power plant for Ukraine, including the construction of which there were great difficulties.
