Metinvest said the “lancet catcher” is a steel frame with chain-link mesh and camouflage elements.
“These shelters are as versatile as possible so they can be used to camouflage and protect most models of equipment in combat positions. For example, self-propelled artillery mounts, tanks, vehicles for transporting personnel . Therefore, it is a mobile structure that is easy to assemble, and after “catching” Enemy UAVs can be easily recovered. Lancet Catchers are made in close cooperation with specialists of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said Metinvest in a statement.
The company noted that they can produce up to five such structures per week.
“They, like other assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, are provided exclusively free of charge,” the press service of Metinvest emphasizes.
