The National Corruption Prevention Agency has listed two American corporations, PepsiCo and Mars, because they continue to operate in Russia despite statements about reducing their business. Also, these companies pay taxes on the territory of the aggressor country. This was reported on September 1 by the press service of the NAPC.

PepsiCo has 19 factories in Russia, employing about 20,000 employees and 40,000 agricultural workers. In the first year of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, PepsiCo Holdings’ revenue increased to $2.59 billion, and the Russian budget received more than $115 million in taxes.

In March 2022, this company announced the suspension of the production of drinks in Russia, but in chamois, the production of 7Up and Mirinda drinks under the Evervess and Frustyle brands resumed. In March 2023, the production of the Pepsi drink resumed.
