The National Bank of Ukraine sold $590.15 million between August 21 and 25, and bought only $1.04 million. This was confirmed by the regulator’s data on Sunday, August 27.

The amount of money sold rose to a maximum a month later after four relatively stable weeks, when the range of sales was in the corridor of 350-470 million dollars.

In total, since the beginning of the year, the NBU sold more than $16.2 billion, and bought – $195 million. The negative balance grew to $16 billion.

Recall that on Friday the exchange rate of the hryvnia in exchange offices began to grow against the dollar after a significant decrease in recent days.

Earlier, financiers and the population worsened their forecasts for the dollar in the next 12 months.
