The average dollar rate increased by another 10 kopecks – up to 38.30 hryvnias, the euro also increased by 10 kopecks – up to 41.90 hryvnias.
The trend of devaluation of the hryvnia continues in exchange offices. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Tuesday, August 22.
So, the average dollar rate increased by another 10 kopecks – up to 38.30 hryvnias, the euro also increased by 10 kopecks – up to 41.90 hryvnias.
In the exchange offices, the dollar was bought at an average of 37.70 hryvnia, the euro – at 41.20 hryvnia.
Over the past week, the dollar has risen in price by 70 kopecks.
At the same time, the official fixed dollar exchange rate of the NBU has not changed since July 21 last year – 39.7245 Hryvnia per dollar. On August 22, the official exchange rate of the euro grew significantly and now stands at UAH 39.889 per euro (+0.1645 UAH).
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine may abandon the fixed exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar until the end of the war.
At the same time, financiers and the population worsened their forecasts for the dollar in the next 12 months.
