Carlsberg Ukraine has launched a new production line at the Kiev brewery. The new automated line makes it possible to produce 40,000 cans of the drink per hour, the company’s press service said.

“We will pack everything – beer, cider, kvass. The demand for bank products is growing. The company decided to invest in a modern production line even before the start of a full-scale war. After the whole -scale invasion of Russia , we turned to the Carlsberg Group, and we were confirmed with an investment of 1.5 billion UAH,” said Oleg Khaydakin, CEO of Carlsberg Ukraine.
The director of Kyiv Brewery Ruslan Bortnik, in turn, said that the project was launched in difficult conditions – the start of implementation was in September 2022, and the peak of construction was during the blackout.
“We have overcome this period. And now we have the most modern automated production line for the production of drinks in a can. The line is built on the most modern technologies and meets the highest requirements both for the safety of the personnel of the service and the safety of the product made here,” he said.
The Danish Carlsberg Group started working in Ukraine in 1996. During this time, more than 1 billion euros were invested in the Ukrainian economy. Carlsberg Ukraine includes three breweries – in Kyiv, Lvov and Zaporozhye.
