Experts emphasized that the increase in exchange rates, and as a result acquisition, for business entities will have a direct negative impact on the cost of goods and services.
Business entities, especially gas station chains, will incur additional costs for the client’s ability to pay with a plastic card or mobile. At the same time, acquisition costs for gas station operators are many times higher than collection costs.
“To support Ukrainian businesses and consumers under martial law, the Oil and Gas Association of Ukraine calls on the National Bank of Ukraine, international payment systems and banking institutions not to increase exchange rates ( acquisition) at a time when the country is at war,” NAU said.
