The US dollar in exchange offices fell to 37.75 hryvnia per dollar, while the euro fell to 41.40 hryvnia.
The hryvnia began to strengthen again in the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Monday morning, May 15.
In the exchange offices of Ukraine, the dollar exchange rate for sale fell by 5 kopecks – to 37.75 Hryvnia per dollar. The euro exchange rate decreased by 15 kopecks to 41.40 hryvnia per euro.
In the cash market, the average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine is:

purchase – 37.25 UAH (37.30 – May 12)

sale – UAH 37.75 (38.80 – May 12) per dollar.
The average euro exchange rate is:

purchase – 40.70 UAH (40.85 – May 12)

sale – UAH 41.40 (41.55 – May 12) per euro.
The official fixed rate set by the National Bank of Ukraine is UAH 36.5686 per dollar (effective from July 21, 2022). At the same time, the euro exchange rate on May 15 was 39.8287 hryvnia per euro (-0.1426 hryvnia).
Recall that the National Bank of Ukraine bought $16.47 million in the interbank foreign exchange market and sold $552.21 million during the week from May 8 to May 12. The NBU increased the sale of foreign currency by 2.1 times compared to the previous week, when it sold $258.83 million.
