No candidate passed the 50% barrier. After processing 100% of the protocols, Erdogan scored 49.35%, Kilicdaroglu – 45%.
The parties are already preparing for the second round, although yesterday and at night there was a lot of talk from the opposition about uncounted votes and that Erdogan’s opponent really won in the first round. Sinan Ogan, who received 5.3%, will support Kilicdaroglu in the second round.
At the same time, Erdogan’s Alliance won the parliamentary elections in Turkey.
The ruling alliance, led by President Erdogan’s party (AKP), won more than 49.31% of the vote and can claim 321 of the 600 seats in parliament. The six-party opposition alliance led by the Kilicdaroglu Party (CHP) won 35.18% and will win 213 seats in parliament.
