In the exchange offices of Ukraine on Tuesday, May 9, the dollar exchange rate for sale did not change – 37.70 Hryvnia per dollar. The euro exchange rate fell by 5 kopecks – up to 41.55 hryvnia per euro. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data.

The official fixed rate of the NBU is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar (effective from July 21, 2022). At the same time, the euro exchange rate on May 9 was 40.348 hryvnia per euro (+0.0878 hryvnia).
Recall that last week the exchange rate of the Hryvnia strengthened in the exchange offices of Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that the majority of members of the monetary policy committee believe that the National Bank of Ukraine at the end of 2023 can reduce the discount rate to 21%.
