The final amount of losses and damages will be determined only after the de-occupation of the Zaporozhye NPP.
The aggressor country Russia caused damage to NNEGC Energoatom in total UAH 32 billion. This was announced by the company’s press service on Monday, April 17.
“As a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, the property and infrastructure of the temporarily occupied Zaporozhye NPP and other separate subdivisions of SE NNEGC Energoatom were damaged or destroyed,” the report said.
The company noted that the final amount of losses and damages will be determined after the de-occupation of the ZNPP, the return to the operator of actual control over all property and its full inspection and inventory.
Earlier, Energoatom said the Russians were preparing to block personnel at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and hold people hostage.
It was also reported that the Russians began deporting children from Energodar, simultaneously “squeezing” ZNPP buses.
