Region Liberty Over the past five days, due to rains and mudflows, the country has lost about 500 million salts. This was announced on Friday by Alfonso Medrano, President of the La Libertad Chamber of Commerce.
Medrano cited some numbers in the program economy for all from PTR about the millions in losses they face as roads are damaged, disrupting production and commercial traffic. In this sense, he explained that transport, tourism and trade have suffered the most.
“Liberty produces 110 million salts per day. Due to these rains, losses amounted to 52 to 53 million soles per day. It is worth saying that in about five days we lost about 260 million, not counting the damage to road infrastructure, which is estimated at 200 million soles. So we can say that to date the region has lost about 500 million salts between road damage and commercial traffic,” he said.
Medrano said Trujillo was left without drinking water for several days as the main canal collapsed due to the rains, but the problem has been resolved and services are slowly being restored.
On the other hand, he criticized the inefficient use of resources allocated to the Reconstruction Authority with changes and called on the Governor of the region Cesar Acunha to lead the situation to help the most affected provinces.
“About 51,000,000,000,000,000 salts were allocated to the Reconstruction Authority with changes, and only about 25,000,000,000,000,000 were used. What is the government going to do with this difference? a lot of work in the cabinet and less work in the field. Ideally, it would be to put it in trust and appoint a body responsible for technicians who have the ability,” he said.
Huaico destroys water and drainage pipes
The waico landslide in Chepen, caused by precipitation, exposed water and drainage pipes that could harm residents of this jurisdiction.
Residents claim this is a “re-film” from 2017 due to El Niño emergencies. They added that they have been in the same situation for a week now and so far no body has come to this point to provide a solution to their demands.
