Support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and charity projects from the bank exceeded UAH 100 million by the end of the year.
In 2022, ConcordBank paid more than UAH 150 million in state taxes and fees and moved accounting from the regular tax office to the State Tax Service department for cooperation with large taxpayers. This was announced by the head of the board of ConcordBank Yuri Zadoya on Friday, March 10.
“ConcordBank paid the state more than UAH 151 million: UAH 141 million in taxes and almost UAH 10.7 million in mandatory contributions and budget payments,” he said.
According to the head of the board, the transfer of the registration bank to the office of the State Tax Service for work with large taxpayers is a “marker of success.”
“Strengthening the economy and sustainably developing business is especially necessary for Ukraine today, we understand it. The banking system is also a strategic area, so it is important to keep this “front”, “added Yuriy Zadoya.
Since February 2022, ConcordBank has directed a large amount of its own income to support the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In some months, up to 50% of income is directed towards these needs.
In particular, according to Zadoya, over the year, “almost 250 requests were fulfilled from military units, which received many UAVs, more than 40 quadrocopters, about 50 thermal imagers and 30 radio stations, charging station, generator, etc.”
