The Pension Fund allocated UAH 38 billion for pension payments

Ukrposhta sent 8.2 billion hryvnias to pay pensions, and 29.7 billion hryvnias through authorized banks.

In February, the Pension Fund of Ukraine financed social payments in the amount of UAH 45 billion, including pension payments in the amount of UAH 37.9 billion. This was stated in the PFU’s message on the Facebook page.

As of February 17, 37.9 billion hryvnias were allocated for pension payments. Including UAH 8.2 billion for payment of pensions through Ukrposhta (68.9% of funded amounts have been delivered), UAH 29.7 billion through authorized banks (100% of funded amounts have been credited to accounts of pensioners).

In addition, the Pension Fund allocated UAH 5.2 billion this month to pay housing subsidies and benefits, UAH 1.9 billion to insurance payments, including UAH 1 billion to pay sick leave.

It was previously reported that pensions will increase this year. Already in March, the government will index pensions by 20%.
