According to the results of 2022, PrivatBank for the first time became the bank with the largest number of branches in Ukraine – 1210.
State PrivatBank for the first time in history took the first place in terms of the number of branches. In 2022, it reduced 287 branches and now has 1210 of them. At the same time, the state Oschadbank now has 1182 branches – 420 in 2022. This is confirmed by the data of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
As of January 1, 2023, there were 5,336 operating structural divisions of banks in Ukraine. In the past year, their number decreased by 1349 (by 20.2%).
The NBU noted that there are 67 operating banks in Ukraine. In 2022, four banks closed, which had 301 branches last year:

Megabank (153),

Sberbank (85),

Bank Sich (62).
They are followed by banks of foreign banking groups:

Raiffeisen Bank (350),

Ukrsibbank (233).
The top five was closed by private bank PUMB (226).

Remember that the general banking network POWER BANKING, created to serve Ukrainians in the conditions of a long-term power outage, will expand. Today, it unites more than 1,000 branches of 14 systemically important banks.
We add that on December 9, the largest banks in Ukraine introduced the so-called ATM national roaming.
