The weather on New Year’s Eve will bear little resemblance to “classic” winter weather, as it can be in January.

The weather in Ukraine for New Year 2023 will be rainless and warm, so it can hardly be called New Year. This was announced on Wednesday, December 21, by weather forecaster Natalya Didenko.

“According to preliminary forecasts, January 1, 2023 in Ukraine will be rainless and warm. Both New Year’s Eve and the first day of the New Year promise to be positive,” he said.

It is known that on Thursday, December 22, it will be warmer in Ukraine. Throughout the country, thermometers will show +1°…+4°, and in some places in the south and southeast the air will warm up to +5°…+8°. It will rain in most northern regions, and snow will fall in the Chernihiv region. Rain is also expected in Khmelnitsky and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

Note that the winter at this time has been quite warm. And the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, said that the European Union in terms of energy benefits from “an unusually warm winter.”
