“Today’s assistance includes, for the first time, a Patriot air defense system capable of shooting down cruise missiles, short-range ballistic missiles and aircraft at a higher level than previously provided air defense systems ,” Blinken said.
It was also reported that the United States will continue to work closely with more than 50 allies and partners around the world to support the people of Ukraine.
“The support will continue as long as necessary to ensure that Kyiv can continue to defend itself and get the strongest possible position at the negotiating table with Russia when the time comes.
