Biden says the Iran nuclear deal is ‘dead’

The American leader said this in November, but it became known only now.

A video has surfaced online showing US President Joe Biden saying the Iran nuclear deal is “dead,” but Washington won’t make that official. This was reported by Axios.

The publication drew attention to the video on December 20, although it was shot in early November during a campaign event. It shows a woman, presumably from Iran, asking if Biden can call the Iranian nuclear deal “dead.”

“This[ang nuclear deal]is dead, but we won’t announce it. Long story,” Biden said.

Biden’s words are the most serious confirmation that the US government rejects the possibility of reviving the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, thus raising the question of the future of the Iranian nuclear program.

In a comment to Axios, a representative of the White House National Security Council confirmed that the issue of the “Iranian nuclear deal” is not on the agenda and the prospects for its conclusion in Washington, due to protests against the government and military aid of Russia. , never seen before.

Recall that last month Iran began enriching uranium to 60% in another nuclear facility. Tehran’s actions are a response to the IAEA resolution.

In Iran, they are also said to be able to build a nuclear bomb, but they say they will not do it.
