“Insolent idiot”: Jacinda Ardern filmed on microphone insulting opposition MP

Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardernwas accused of calling an opposition MP in Parliament an “arrogant idiot” in a private commentary filmed by a microphone in her place.

After the dispute, Ardern wrote a text message apologizing to the MP. David SeymourACT New Zealand Liberal Party, which he insulted after his speech at Parliament Headquarters in Wellington.

Speaking to local media, Seymour, whose party has ten members in the Legislative Assembly, said the prime minister wrote him a message saying, “Sorry, I shouldn’t have said that,” and that he responded by wishing her a Merry Christmas and that the matter has already been decided.

The beginning of the dispute

In his speech before the insult, the neoliberal ideology MP asked Jacinda Ardern for inflation, crime and challenged her to count at least once what the government was wrong about, recognized it and did something to solve it.
