Ukraine will continue to receive help from European states, both military and financial, humanitarian support in the confrontation with the Russian Federation.
Some European countries decided on additional support for the Ukrainians during the war with Russia. This was announced on Tuesday, December 13, by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his video message.
In particular, the Ukrainian leader noted that there is very good news from France.
“Two conferences were held there in support of Ukraine. The first result was a billion euros of aid to our sustainability, especially energy,” Zelensky said.
The head of state said that every day we are working with partners to get new forces for Ukraine to cope with this winter.
“Today there are decisions by other countries, except France – the Czech Republic, Spain, Switzerland – to provide additional support packages. The Italian Senate has decided on armed support. Norway is preparing a new program to support our state and people,” the president added.
Recall that Switzerland will allocate almost $100 million for Ukraine.
It was also reported that the ambassadors of the EU member states unanimously agreed on a package of financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 18 billion euros.
