They said that a 59-year-old foreigner living in Ukraine decided to steal a piece of meat from a 37-year-old acquaintance of the seller. However, he noticed the attempt and kicked him out of the market. the man left, but hid his resentment.
“Soon he returned with a knife and stabbed the seller in the back. He was hospitalized with a penetrating stab wound,” police said.
The attacker fled, but the police, called by eyewitnesses, recognized him and found him less than an hour later and detained him. The man confirmed the reason for the conflict with the merchant and admitted that he was happy because he hurt her.
Police found the weapon in a dumpster. The knife was sent for examination.
A convicted attacker faces five to eight years in prison.
