“As part of the initiative of the first ladies of Poland and Ukraine, a group of Ukrainian doctors arrived in Poland and tomorrow they will start training for the air evacuation of wounded soldiers and civilians from the combat zone,” wrote he.
The training of the first group of Ukrainian doctors will begin on Monday at the Polish medical aviation base in Warsaw.
“Poland supports Ukraine in the creation and development of helicopter medical rescue service structures,” he added.
Severa clarified that this is not the only mission under the initiative, and that other groups of Ukrainian doctors will also receive air evacuation training.
It is known that in January 2023, the training of Ukrainian doctors in treating victims with severe burns will also begin in Poland.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian servicemen are already undergoing training at the Libava training ground under the guidance of Czech colleagues.
