“The driver of a BMW car, a 23-year-old resident of the city of Skole, hit a pedestrian – a local resident aged 48. After a collision with a car, the man was thrown in the oncoming lane, where he fell under the wheels of a Volvo truck with a semi-trailer. The pedestrian died from his injuries at the scene,” police said.
They determined that the pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway at an unspecified location.
In fact, the investigators of the department for the investigation of crimes in the field of transport of the Lviv regional police opened a criminal trial. The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
