The transfer of every sphere online leads to the elimination of corruption, Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Fedorov.
The use of electronic services in the Diya application is expected to provide a total economic and anti-corruption effect for the state at the level of UAH 48 billion in 2022. This was announced on the eve of the Telegram of the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation which is Mikhail Fedorov.
“16.3 billion hryvnias – this is the total economic and anti-corruption impact only from electronic services in December 2020-2021. And the forecast for 2022 is at the level of 48 billion hryvnias,” he wrote.
According to Fedorov, moving every sphere online leads to the elimination of corruption.
“An important example is the digitalization of the construction industry. Previously, citizens and businesses were forced to pay large bribes for processing documents for construction. Now everything is transparent with a few clicks on Diya portal and the e-construction website,” he said.
As a result, thanks to the introduction of the Unified State Electronic System, the state saved UAH 3 billion a year.
The launch of electronic sick leave allows to save UAH 4 billion annually, because earlier, before the digitalization of e-sick leaves, more than UAH 18 billion was paid annually from the state budget for on disability certificates, and “part of the funds went to certificates purchased on the Internet.”
“According to the Ministry of Finance, up to 10% of all social payments are ineffective. More funds are spent annually in the social sphere – more than 700 billion hryvnias, which is difficult to monitor. These are subsidies, pension payments, etc. The launch of the Unified Information System for the Social Sphere will save the budget up to 11 billion hryvnias annually,” Fedorov gave the following example and added that work on it is still underway also.
Recall that a registration certificate was recently launched in the Diya application. The statement will be generated in a few minutes. You can also download it in PDF format to your device.
