Azerbaijan sent a batch of transformers and generators to Ukraine

Azerbaijani authorities sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine in the form of 45 power transformers and 50 generators. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan reported this on Saturday, December 10.

It is indicated that the energy equipment is provided by Azerenergy. The cargo with a total weight of more than 52 tons and a value of more than 800 thousand dollars was sent in four trucks.

At the same time, the total amount of humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine exceeded $17.5 million.

In addition, over the past six months, various Azerbaijani organizations have provided humanitarian aid to the population of Ukraine. 90 Ukrainian children who suffered from the war and lost loved ones were brought to Azerbaijan for medical and socio-psychological rehabilitation.

Also, school No. 12 named after Zarifa Aliyeva in Irpen, which was destroyed as a result of the fighting, was fully restored, and various humanitarian aid activities were carried out.

A day before it was reported that Estonia sent 11 buses with power equipment to Ukraine. The aid will go to the cities of Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Poltava and Bucha.

It was also reported that Georgia will buy generators for Ukraine. The head of the government of Georgia gave the corresponding instructions to the Ministry of Economy of the country.
