During the capture of the city, women voluntarily joined the “main department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kherson region” created by the conquerors.
The Security Service of Ukraine exposed three henchmen of Russian aggressors in the course of stabilization measures in liberated Kherson. It was reported on the website of special services on Thursday, December 8.
It is indicated that during the capture of the city, they voluntarily joined the “main department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kherson region” created by the invaders.
“Among them was the head of one of the “personnel” units of the pseudo-organ. It was he who launched an extensive campaign to entice local residents to cooperate with the aggressor. At the same time, he personally sought out “like- like-minded people” he offered to join the ranks of the occupation body,” the report said.
After Kherson was released, the collaborator tried to hide, but not for long. Now he is in custody.
The SBU investigators informed him about the suspicion under the article on collaborative activities (part 7 of article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Two other hostile henchmen are former employees of local banks. After capturing the city, they went to the side of the aggressor. For this, they were appointed “inspector of the personnel department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation of the Kherson region” and “specialist of the federal migration service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation of the Kherson region. “
A few days before the liberation of the city, they hid in the temporarily occupied region of southern Ukraine. Regarding them, no conditional evidence of collaborative activities was collected. The charges were sent to the court.
Earlier it was reported that the SBU detained a banker who introduced a “ruble zone” in Kherson. At the beginning of the invasion, he supported the invaders and willingly agreed to head one of the departments of the financial institution.
