Indiana accuses TikTok of being a “Chinese Trojan horse.”

This is a first for TikTok. A Chinese video app has been sued on American soil by the state of Indiana. The latter filed two complaints against the service for misleading consumers.

They mainly aim to force TikTok to rewrite its content and data protection policies to make them more transparent.

Indiana doesn’t mince words against TikTok, which in turn qualifies as “Wolf in Lamb’s Clothing” and: “Chinese Trojan Horse Unleashed on Unsuspecting American Consumers”. The Northern State is criticized for minimizing the weight of the videos that contain the app “Alcohol, drugs, profanity, sexual references, nudity” which may be viewed by minors.
