Zelensky: To survive this winter is to defend everything

According to the president, to get through this winter, Ukrainians must work together and also avoid internal conflicts.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia still has the advantage in artillery and missiles, but does not and will not have the same motivation as the Ukrainians.

“Surviving this winter means defending everything. Russia still has missiles and an advantage in artillery. But we have one thing that the invader does not and will not have – we are defending our home, and this is gives us the strongest motivation possible. We fight for freedom, and this always multiplies any strength. We defend the truth, and it unites the whole world around Ukraine,” Zelensky said in his traditional evening speech.

According to the president, to get through this winter, Ukrainians must work together and also avoid internal conflicts.

“To get through this winter, we must help each other more than ever, take care of each other more. Please don’t ask if and how to help, only help when you see you can,” he says. he says.

“We must not allow any internal conflicts and conflicts that can weaken us all. Even if someone thinks that this will somehow strengthen him personally, we need more contact than before,” Zelensky said.

He also urged to think of each winter day not as a test, but as a time that brings Ukraine closer to victory.

Recall that the US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin accused Russia of deliberate brutality in the war against Ukraine, saying that Moscow deliberately chooses the civilian population as a target.
