The Kremlin ordered to celebrate the New Year modestly – media

The Kremlin issued “recommendations” to local authorities on holding New Year events, advising them to “show restraint in spending” but citing the “heroism of fighters” in Ukraine, RBC reports.

When arranging children’s Christmas trees, restrictions are recognized as “highly undesirable.” At the same time, during the holidays, children will be brainwashed by “reference to the heroism of the defenders of the Fatherland, the opportunity to send greetings on behalf of the child.”

As for celebratory events for the elderly, the Kremlin points out that there is “a request from citizens to show restraint in spending.”

Regions and municipalities are offered to congratulate the families of war veterans with children on the New Year, collect postcards to the occupiers of Ukraine, and congratulate the wounded in hospitals.
New Year’s fairs are recommended to be used as a “tool of social stabilization”: people should collect gifts for the participants in the so-called “special military operations”, as well as the place ” Everything for Victory” stands at fairs.

In the occupied regions of Ukraine – “LPR”, “DPR”, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, it is proposed to install Christmas trees and solemnly open them.

It is also recommended to form propaganda groups (including Ded Morozov and Snegurochka) to congratulate the Russian military in Ukraine.

When developing concert programs, regions and TV channels are invited to support artists of a “patriotic orientation”, among them Gorod 312, Polina Gagarina, Oleg and Rodion Gazmanovs, Victoria Deineko, Larisa Dolina, Yaroslav Dronov (Shaman), singer Zara, the group “Earthlings”, Grigory Leps , Denis Maidanov, Alexander Marshal, Stas Piekha, Nikolai Rastorguev, Alexander F. Sklyar, Garik Sukachev, Vadim Samoilov, Svetlana Surganova, Yulia Chicherina, Uma2rmaH.

It was recommended to set up television studios in the central squares of Russian cities “for recording greetings to the participants in the war.”

State-owned companies, among other things, are advised to forgo “big expensive vacations and expensive entertainment.”

Remember that in Kyiv, New Year’s trees will be installed in various districts, including Sophia Square, but there will be no mass events and concert programs.
