A supporter of the “Russian world”, who “mined” the building of the President’s Office in Kyiv, was made aware of the suspicion.
The prosecutor’s office of the capital reported on suspicion of a 51-year-old resident of Kiev. This “telephone terrorist” called the security forces and reported on the impending explosion of the building of the Office of the President of Ukraine on Bankova.
The call to line 102 occurred on the evening of November 28, the next day the miner was identified and detained.
The man explained the reason for his act as dissatisfaction with the power outage.
During a search of the house of the 51-year-old suspect, they found things indicating that he was a supporter of the “Russian world” – communist symbols and St. George ribbons.
The court will decide on a measure of restraint for the “miner”. The sanction of the article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine provides in such cases from 4 to 8 years in prison.
In Rivne, a 25-year-old woman reported that a post office had been bombed after she had an argument with a man who was going there to pick up a parcel.
The incident occurred back in October of this year, but it became known only on Wednesday, November 30, after a report from the press service of the Rivne region prosecutor’s office. It is known that the woman has already been handed a suspicion, she faces up to six years in prison.
