On Wednesday, a message with explosives was received not only by the Ukrainian embassy in Spain, but also by a local company whose weapons are being sent by the authorities to help Ukraine.
Spanish arms manufacturer Instalaza also received a package containing what is likely an explosive device on Wednesday, November 30, as happened at the Ukrainian embassy in Spain, reports El Periodico.
It is known that in the afternoon the police of the Aragon region and the Civil Guard received from Instalaza a message about a suspicious package with signs similar to the one sent to the Ukrainian Embassy in Spain.
The police were sent to the area, the territory of the plant was cordoned off, and traffic and pedestrians on the adjacent streets were blocked.
Later, experts detonated the package in a controlled manner, the operation was completed with no casualties or injuries. The police began collecting physical evidence to analyze the contents of the package.
Instalaza is a company from Zaragoza that has been designing and manufacturing military infantry equipment since 1943. It is one of the Spanish companies that produces weapons that the government sent to Ukraine to defend against Russian aggression.
It was previously reported about the explosion at the Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid. A diplomatic officer opened an envelope containing a miniature explosive device. Local police activated the anti-terrorist protocol and cordoned off the area.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to Spain reported the details of the explosion
