Alexander Kubrakov can get a new position in the Cabinet of Ministers, say sources in the parliament.
The Minister of Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov submitted a letter of resignation. This was announced by the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk on Telegram on Wednesday, November 30.
“The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine received an application from Oleksandr Mykolayovych Kubrakov on his dismissal from the post of Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, RBC-Ukraine, citing sources in the parliament, claims that Kubrakov may get a new position in the Cabinet of Ministers. Allegedly tomorrow the Verkhovna Rada will consider this issue. And Kubrakov can be transferred to the post of Deputy Prime Minister.
“In addition to the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry for the Development of Communities and Territories, previously headed by Alexei Chernyshov, will be subordinate to him … People’s representatives from the Servant of the People are planning discuss this personnel issue at a faction meeting today,” the message said.
Earlier on Wednesday, it became known that the Ministry of Defense appointed a new general director of the Motor Sich plant. They became Alexey Nikiforov. The new composition of the supervisory board and its chairman were also elected.
