The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has appointed a new head of the Motor Sich business. This was announced today, November 30, by the press service of the ministry.
“On November 28, 2022, by order of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, changes were made to the Charter of Motor Sich Public Joint Stock Company, based on which the business operates. In addition, the powers of the members of The Supervisory Board, the Chairman and the members of the Board of Directors were terminated ahead of schedule. Also, the powers of the President of the Joint Stock Company Vyacheslav Boguslaev, he was removed from his position. By order of Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Aleksey Nikiforov has been appointed director general of the enterprise,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
A new composition of the supervisory board and its chairman, the Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Igor Fomenko, was elected. All changes contained in the Unified State Register are registered.
“Now the strategic enterprise will work 24/7 to meet the defense needs of the state. The potential of the workforce will be fully utilized. Motor Sich will develop and manufacture products in the interests of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine ,” the report said.
As a reminder, earlier, Motor Sich JSC officials were informed about a suspicion of collaborative activities and collusion with the aggressor state (Art. 111-1, Art. 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). It was established that they established transnational channels for the illegal wholesale supply of many Ukrainian aircraft engines to the aggressor country.
