Today, on November 26, the founding summit of the new humanitarian initiative Grain From Ukraine was held in Kyiv. This was reported by the press service of the President of Ukraine.
It is noted that this initiative emphasizes the global importance of food security and the global role of Ukraine and our partners in ensuring such security.
“We plan to send at least 60 ships from Ukrainian ports to the countries most affected by the food crisis and in need of urgent aid. These are countries such as Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, Congo, Kenya , Yemen and others. We already have significant results in cooperation with the UN Food Program, but we still have a lot to do,” said the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Sixty ships will guarantee food security for millions of people. This will be one of the biggest contributions to global stability – a real, necessary step.
