Some countries spend several years launching similar projects, and some have not yet launched them.
In ten days, an electronic queue for cargo transportation can be launched at the western border of Ukraine. This was announced on Friday, November 25, by the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Mustafa Nayem, referring to Latifundist.com.
He noted that technically, the project is ready for launch, but it remains to agree on legal nuances.
“Today is Friday, I want to believe that now the government will consider the corresponding resolution. If it is adopted, then ten days will remain for it to take effect. It will work at the Yagodin checkpoint, if everything goes well, it spreads to other points,” said Mustafa Nayem.
He noted that some countries spend several years launching similar projects, and some have not yet launched them. He added that after the introduction of E-queue, there are no alternatives for truck drivers and no one can skip the queue on “roundabout ways”.
Earlier, border guards reported complications in their work at several checkpoints.
