Nearly three-quarters of Musk’s survey participants supported restoring banned accounts.
Twitter owner Elon Musk wants to continue blocking accounts that don’t break the law and don’t engage in spam. About this Musk reported on social media after the polls.
“The people have spoken. Amnesty begins next week. Vox Populi, Vox Dei,” Musk wrote.
Before that, he conducted a poll on Twitter, where more than 3 million votes were taken into account.
72.4% voted to reinstate suspended accounts, provided they “did not break the law or engage in egregious spam.”
Recall that earlier Musk organized a poll about unblocking the account of former US President Donald Trump on Twitter. After 52% of the participants were in favor, Trump’s account was unblocked. However, Trump himself refused to return to Twitter.
