In Russia, the fire at the oil depot Transneft Bryansk – Druzhba was completely extinguished. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation on Tuesday, April 26.
The department clarified that the fire was extinguished at 7:19 Moscow time (6:19 Kyiv time).
In turn, the Governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz on the Telegram channel noted that all emergency and operational services continue to work at the scene. No one was killed in the fire.
He said that Rospotrebnadzor specialists are monitoring the presence of harmful impurities in the air.
The governor added that there is no threat regarding the supply of fuel to gas stations.
“There are sufficient capacities and reserves in the region, oil refining is ongoing,” he assured.
It will be recalled that on the night of April 25 in Bryansk, located near the border with Ukraine, there was a huge fire at the oil depot. Netizens say they heard loud explosions before the fire.
It was later learned that another oil storage facility had burned down in Bryansk. The diesel fuel tank caught fire.
