Power engineers assure that the situation with energy supply in Ukraine at this stage is difficult, but controllable.
The situation in the energy system of Ukraine in the near future may change for the better. This was announced on Saturday, November 19, by the head of the board of NPC Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytsky in an interview with 1+1.
“If there are no attacks, then in a few days the situation in the energy system will be better. If there are new attacks, we will be ready to continue again and again,” he said.
At the same time, Kidritsky pointed out that citizens should be prepared for possible significant disruptions in energy supply.
At the same time, he stressed that electricity consumers should know: “If the lights are turned off somewhere, that means someone outside, far away, at the substation, at the power plant is already engaged in repairs.”
In turn, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine noted that “the introduced emergency and hourly power outage schedules make it possible to stabilize the energy system, carry out repair and restoration work.”
Note that emergency power outages apply in Kyiv. The hourly closing stabilization schedule did not work.
Later, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that almost half of Ukraine’s energy system was out of action.
