The incident at the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, when during the service the parishioners sang “Russian world” became the subject of an investigation.
The security service launched criminal proceedings on the fact of the incident that took place on November 12 in one of the temples of the National Reserve Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. Then, during the holy service in the temple, the theses of a propaganda lauding the “world of Russia” sounded. This was reported on November 15 by the SBU press service.
The investigation is conducted under Part 1 of Art. 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – justification, recognition as legal, rejection of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants.
Currently, all materials are sent for appropriate analysis.
The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the SBU in Kyiv and the Kyiv region under the procedural leadership of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.
It will be remembered that earlier the head of the SBU, Vasily Malyuk, said that this incident will not go unanswered.
