Jimmy Kimmel joked Monday that he spent the weekend in Florida as Donald Trump’s guest at his youngest daughter Tiffany’s wedding.
“It’s been an emotional weekend for Trump,” Kimmel said. — Because she gave birth to a daughter and the Senate on the same night, Saturday evening.
Then-Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) won re-election against Trump-backed conspiracy theorist Adam Laxalt, ensuring Democrats will retain control of the Senate in the next session of Congress.
“Many of the candidates that Trump supported ended up losing,” Kimmel said. “Everything Trump touches dies, which explains why Melania will live forever.”
While Kimmel pointed out more than a few of Trump’s weird weekend moments, one stood out above the rest: Ivanka Trump apparently cutting Kimberly Guilfoyle out of a photo she posted on Instagram.
“How terrible do you have to be to get cut out of a Trump family photo?” Kimmel wondered.
