The troops of the Russian Federation destroyed an energy facility that supplies electricity to the entire right bank of the Kherson region and a significant part of the Nikolaev region. This was announced on Monday, November 14, by the head of Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytsky on his Facebook page.
He noted that two autotransformers were blown up, each weighing 250 tons.
“The relay protection hall, compressor room, battery room – which, according to the terrorists, did not cause the explosions, were shot and smashed. Several hectares of the consequences of the impotent rage of the invaders before flee from the right bank of the Kherson region. A vile horde that can only destroy,” he wrote.
Kudrytsky said that electricity supply schemes for the Kherson region from two neighboring regions are being developed.
Sappers are also inspecting high-voltage lines running through territories where heavy fighting has taken place.
“The level of mines there is very high. We are working hard, but we are not losing a minute. Most of the liberated regions of Kherson have been without electricity since November 6. We are doing everything possible to heal those person as soon as possible. according to the selected backup schemes,” added Kudrytsky.
He also said that the necessary equipment is already being sent to Ukraine from system operators in Poland and France, which responded to a request for assistance.
