MP from the opposition Argentina This Thursday, he denied involvement in the attack on Vice President Cristina Kirchner, who pointed to the parliamentarian in connection with his alleged connection to the attack.
“They want to come up with a different story,” said Gerardo Milman, an MP for the Republican Proposal (PRO), a force that is part of Together for Change, the country’s main opposition coalition.
In a social media post Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner This Thursday, the parliamentarian was involved in a story about alleged links between those responsible for the September 1 attack and opposition politicians.
In particular, he shared a video in which, in addition to reminiscing about the attack at the gate of his house and identifying two of the three young people prosecuted in the case – Fernando Sabag Montiel and Brenda Ularte – he connects the facts with Milman, who, in an informal meeting with two collaborators in a bar would say, according to an eyewitness, “when she is killed, I will go to the coast.”
Reject binding
The video comments that “the testimony of the witness has been judicially verified,” a former Santa Fe provincial official who Milman called this Thursday a “perjury witness.”
“I never said this phrase. This is absolute nonsense,” the deputy said on the air of the radio “Mitra” from Buenos Aires.
Christina Kirshner said this Thursday that he will demand the removal of the investigating judge in the Maria Eugenia Capuchetti assault case, given that she “paralyzed and boycotted the investigation” by not delving into the testimony of a witness in which Millman was involved.
“The worst thing about this is that now the vice president has risen up, challenging the judge in the case for not investigating this madness. It seems to me a fascist stance of persecuting opponents,” said Milman, who was in charge of intelligence during the administration of Patricia Bullrich, president of PRO, as secretary of security for the government of Mauricio Macri (2015-2019).
The vice president was attacked in the midst of demonstrations outside her home, which came after a prosecutor on August 21 demanded 12 years in prison from her for alleged corruption during her two periods as president.
