The relevant services are working around the clock to speed up the process of surveying and demining the unoccupied territory.
It is possible for the civilian population to return to the occupied territory of the Kherson region when it is safe there and all the necessary conditions for life are restored. This was announced on Sunday, November 13, by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov on the air of an information telethon.

“As for the liberated territory, there is a real danger for the civilian population now. It is necessary to conduct a study of every square meter and understand that there are no explosive devices. This is a difficult job. To save the lives of the population of the civilian, a big request “Don’t rush to return home. Everyone who has the desire to return will definitely return, but you have to wait a little time,” said Danilov.
He noted that the demining of the occupied territory is being carried out as soon as possible.
“The enemy has done massive mining in this territory. Moreover, we do not exclude that there are land mines remaining in this territory,” added Danilov.
It will be a gradual process, he said.
“As soon as we understand that the situation is 100% safe there, the civilian population will be allowed to return to their homes. But there is an understanding that before that we have to provide all the necessary conditions for life – it is easy , it’s water, it’s the Internet, it’s means of communication “, Danilov summed up.
It will be remembered that the early residents of Kherson were urged not to rush to celebrate the liberation. Almost everything was mined by the city’s invaders, so the townspeople were asked not to gather in crowded places.
