The Ministry of Defense named the names of the commanders in charge of the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Kherson.
The counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the southern direction is led by four brigadier generals and one major general. This was announced by Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar on Telegram.
“The superiority of our Armed Forces over the enemy lies in the motivation and intelligence of our command. We have powerful commanders who are battle-hardened on all fronts. They direct, plan, and command,” he said.
Malyar said the counter-offensive in the south was controlled by: Brigadier General Alexander Tarnavsky; Major General Andrei Kovalchuk; Brigadier General Andrey Gritskov; Brigadier General Mikhail Drapatiy; Brigadier General Andrey Ignatov.
The Deputy Minister of Defense also published a photo of the Ukrainian commanders.
