Russia’s protégé in Zaporizhia, Yevgeny Balitsky, was ready to take the population from the occupied territories near the front line.
The former people’s representative from the Party of Regions Yevhen Balitsky, who was appointed by the Russian Federation as “Gauleiter” of the temporarily occupied Zaporozhye districts, announced the possible departure of residents of the settlements located near the front line. Radio Liberty reported this in connection with his statement.
“If there is shelling on the front line and it is associated with an increased threat to people’s lives, then perhaps such measures will be taken,” said Balitsky.
At the same time, the Zaporizhia Gauleiter emphasized that this evacuation will not take place in the annexed Crimea and Russian regions. The invaders plan to take the people deep into the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporozhye region.
Recall that the Russian occupiers obliged the residents of the temporarily occupied Melitopol to apply for a special permit to pass through the checkpoint in Vasilyevka, Zaporozhye region, on the way to Zaporozhye.
